A Custom Wooden Guitar Pick Holder

I saw a picture of a neat looking guitar pick holder on the internet, and I thought “I want that”. So I made it. Or at least I attempted to.
I made it out of wood from an old computer desk sitting in the garden using a jigsaw and a rotary tool with a dremel attachment. The wood was pre-laminated (not great to work with, but it seemed a shame to waste it) and I used woodstain add more colour. Unfortunately I didn’t record myself making it, but here are some pretty pictures for you.

I also 3D printed a little wall mount for me to put it next to my guitars. Perhaps my next iteration will have a spring loaded center to make it easier to take a pick, or put one back. Or maybe I’ll add a lid, to make it easy to take when travelling. The possibilities are endless!
